WHO I AM:

I'm a Swedish-born, award-winning designer that takes a human-centered, design-based approach to helping progressive organizations communicate better.

I try to identify and understand the underlying motivations behind people's decisions and then create communications that resonate with them. I am particularly passionate about sustainability and environmental issues. Highlights include securing $29M for public transit and providing 200 beds during catastrophic floods.

I see myself as someone who solves complex communication problems by translating human needs into understandable, actionable visual information.

WHAT I WANT:

" My goal is very simple.
It's to help create a delightfully diverse, safe, healthy, and just world, with clean air, soil, water, and power – economically, equitably, ecologically, and elegantly enjoyed, period. What's not to like? "

– William McDonough

HOW I WORK:

The idea behind good design is this: In order to make something that people want to use, you need to understand how people experience that something. To do so, you need to engage in the user experience, which is a systematic investigation and design of how people are using your product; why they are using it, and how they want to use it.
